Despite the extreme cold that just veiled our country, I continue to suffer from an emerging spring fever. What better could I do than sew something spring-like? These nice two pillowcases now warm our bedroom, let's hibernate till spring.

It's cold, finally, it's still winter isn't it?! On my way to school today I was literally freezing my ears of. Time for some cat hats on the go, fresh from the oven.

Don't you just adore the new line of fuwari's by nani IRO?! I do! Today I made a start on a pattern for a summer blouse for little Hadewig. As the plum one is her favorite, plum it is!

Many fabric orders make me curious about the goal/the end result our customers had in mind. Surprising combinations of fabrics inspire me and encourage me to dare to take risks in combining colors and patterns and even different kinds of material. Sadly I do not control all workmanship. I wish I could find the time to follow a course in coating chairs. Carline, thank you for sharing your great piece of work, I love it! What a great way to revitalize an old but valuable piece of furniture.

Our cat hats are part of this week's top ten on Babyccino Kids. Stay warm this winter! It's getting colder here in the Netherlands and we can surely use a little bit of warm & cosy, are you well prepared?

Two beautiful nani IRO designs, fuwari fuwari and pocho, are now available in brushed cotton. A fine quality, medium weight fabric. Flannel-like only a bit thicker. It's just impossible to capture them worthily in a picture, jaw drop beautiful in person and soft as a cloud! Great for dresses, cushions, winterbedding and pj's. Nani IRO's always seem to run fast and are rarely reprinted, so if you like 'em, come get 'em!
